Abstract
A perforation suturing method has the steps of: inserting a needle into a wall of a hollow organ at a periphery of the perforation formed in the hollow organ, and piercing the wall; withdrawing the needle from the wall after delivery of an anchor attaching suture thread from the needle, and having the suture thread transit the wall; and tightening the suture thread so that the mated insertion points at the time of insertion of the needle into the wall approximately coincide after having the needle pierce the wall at the periphery of the perforation a plurality of times, and making surfaces of the wall where the insertion points are formed coincide with each other.
Claims4
A perforation suturing method comprising the steps of:
- piercing a muscular layer which has outer and inner wall surfaces of a hollow organ by using a needle inside which a first suture thread is housed at a first insertion point being positioned in the vicinity of a perforation formed in the hollow organ, and the muscular layer being pierced from the outer surface to the inner surface;
- withdrawing the needle at the first insertion point from the muscular layer after delivery of a first anchor attaching the first suture thread from the needle, and having the first suture thread transit the muscular layer;
- piercing the muscular layer by using a needle inside which a second suture thread is housed at a second insertion point being positioned in the vicinity of the perforation and opposite to the first insertion point with the perforation positioned between the first and second insertion points, and the muscular layer being pierced from the outer surface to the inner surface;
- withdrawing the needle at the second insertion point from the muscular layer after delivery of a second anchor attaching the second suture thread from the needle, and having the second suture thread transit the muscular layer;
- tightening the first and second suture threads so that part of the muscular layer between the first insertion point and the second insertion point is pulled into an interior side of the hollow organ;
- and
- tightening the first and second suture threads further so that part of the outer surface of the muscular layer in the vicinity of the first insertion point and part of the outer surface of the muscular layer in the vicinity of the second insertion point make contact with each other.
