Abstract
A muscle assessment method utilizing a computing system, surface electromyometry (sEMG) sensors, and other sensors to gather data for one or more subjects engaged in an activity through operably coupling the one or more sensors to the computing system, and directing a computing system to select one or more muscle assessment protocols related to a number of different metrics. For a user subject engaged in a physical activity, assessing muscle condition, the muscle activity, and statistically related averages provide information to the user and about muscle and whole body fitness.
Claims29
A muscle assessment method comprising:
- a computing system gathering a dataset of one or more subjects engaged in an activity from one or more of surface electromyometry (sEMG) sensors attached to the subject, temperature sensors attached to the subject, heart rate sensors attached to the subject;
- operably coupling the one or more sensors to a computing system;
- a computing system selecting one or more muscle assessment protocols for a subject engaged in a muscle activity for assessing one or more of the subject's muscle condition, the subject's muscle activity, the related average dataset, projected estimates for the subject's activity;
- the computing system monitoring and/or recording relevant data of the one or more subjects engaged in an activity;
- and
- the computing system determining one or more of muscle assessment data, related average dataset, projected estimations of one or more of the subjects engaged in an activity.

- operably coupling the one or more sensors to a computing system;
- selecting one or more muscle assessment protocols for a subject engaged in a muscle activity for assessing one or more of the subject's muscle condition, the subject's muscle activity, the related average dataset, projected estimates for the subject's activity;
- monitoring and/or recording relevant data of the one or more subjects engaged in an activity;
- and
- determining one or more of muscle assessment data, related average dataset, projected estimations of one or more of the subjects engaged in an activity.
