A crystalline form of betrixaban maleate, which is Form II.
A crystalline form of betrixaban maleate, which is Form III.
A method for preparing betrixaban, comprising reacting Compound C:
- with dimethylamide lithium (LiN(CH3)2) under reaction conditions wherein the dimethylamide lithium is added over a period of not less than 3 hours at a temperature of between about 8° C. and about 12° C.
