Abstract
A pharmaceutical product having excellent adiponectin production ability, and food useful for the pharmaceutical product is provided. The pharmaceutical product contains, as active ingredients, a sugar having a polymerization degree of 2-10, wherein mannose units account for not less than 50% based on the number, and a chlorogenic acid.

A pharmaceutical composition for enhancing adiponectin production, which contains a chlorogenic acid and a sugar having a degree of polymerization between 1 and 20 wherein mannose units account for at least 50% of the number of units.
A food, comprising a chlorogenic acid and a sugar having a degree of polymerization between 2 and 10 wherein mannose units account for at least 50% of the number of units.
