Abstract
An iron type golf club head 1 comprises a head main body 1A, a toe-side weight member 10 made of a metal material M1 having specific gravity ρ2 larger than that of the head main body 1A and disposed on a toe-side of the head main body 1A, and a heel-side weight member 11 made of a metal material M2 having specific gravity ρ3 larger than that of the head main body 1A and disposed on a heel-side of the head main body 1A. The head main body 1A comprises a face main portion 13 having a face 2 to hit a golf ball, and a tubular hosel portion 7 provided continuously on a heel-side of the face main portion 13 and having a shaft inserting hole 7a. A distance L1 from the center of gravity Gt of the toe-side weight member to the center of gravity Gh of the heel-side weight member 11 ranges from 50 to 120 mm.
Claims6
