A portable terminal apparatus comprising:
- a first operation unit having an image area for displaying an image and an operation area for displaying operation keys;
- and
- a second operation unit configured to synchronously operate with the operation area of the first operation unit so as to disable an input at a part of the second operation unit corresponding to the image area of the first operation unit and to enable an input at a part of the second operation unit corresponding to the operation area of the first operation unit.
