Abstract
A method, device and system for sending and acquiring information is provided, which relates to the field of communication, for solving the problem that user equipment (UE) cannot determine whether information transmitted in a time-frequency resource block is pilot measurement information or other information, such as communication data, that result in inaccurate detection on signal quality of a neighboring cell by the UE. Antenna configuration information of the neighboring cell is acquired, and a message is sent carrying the antenna configuration information of the neighboring cell to the UE. The embodiments of the present invention can be applied in a wireless communication network.
Claims20
A method for sending antenna configuration information, comprising:
- acquiring, by a base station of a current cell, the antenna configuration information of a neighboring cell;
- and
- sending, by the base station, a message carrying the antenna configuration information of the neighboring cell to a user equipment (UE) of the current cell.
A method for acquiring antenna configuration information, comprising:
- receiving, by a user equipment (UE) in a current cell, a message carrying antenna configuration information of a neighboring cell sent by a base station of the current cell;
- and
- acquiring, by the UE, the antenna configuration information of the neighboring cell from the message.
A base station serving a user equipment in a current cell, comprising:
- an acquiring unit, configured to acquire antenna configuration information of a neighboring cell;
- and
- a sender, configured to send a message carrying the antenna configuration information of the neighboring cell acquired by the acquiring unit to the user equipment.
A user equipment (UE) operable in a cellular communications network, the UE comprising:
- a receiver, configured to receive a message carrying antenna configuration information of a neighboring cell in the cellular communications network;
- and
- an acquiring unit, configured to acquire the antenna configuration information of the neighboring cell from the message received by the receiver.
