An illumination device comprising a bent support and at least one illumination module, the at least one illumination module comprising at least one flexible carrier for a plurality of heat sources, wherein the carrier is provided for being bent over at least part of its width, wherein the illumination module is fixed areally to the support at least regionally by a part of the carrier bent widthwise.
