Abstract
A method for reinforcing a railcar bodyshell according to the present invention includes the steps of: in a bodyshell including a metal frame and a metal plate joined to the frame and formed such that a cross section orthogonal to a railcar longitudinal direction has a wave shape, disposing a fiber sheet on at least a part of the plate; and forming a fiber reinforced resin member by bonding the fiber sheet to the part of the plate by an impregnated adhesive resin.
Claims10
A method for reinforcing a railcar bodyshell, comprising the steps of:
- in a bodyshell including a metal frame and a metal plate joined to the frame and formed such that a cross section thereof orthogonal to a railcar longitudinal direction has a wave shape, disposing a fiber sheet on at least a part of the plate;
- and
- forming a fiber reinforced resin member by bonding the fiber sheet to the part of the plate by an impregnated adhesive resin.
A railcar bodyshell comprising:
- a metal frame;
- a metal plate joined to the frame and formed such that a cross section thereof orthogonal to a railcar longitudinal direction has a wave shape;
- and
- a fiber reinforced resin member joined to a part of the plate and reinforcing the plate.
