The invention provides an apparatus and method for high-visibility work gear. The apparatus includes a main body portion. High-visibility elements are connected to the main body portion. The high-visibility portions including a night-time light reflecting material and day-time high-visibility surrounding offset material.

A work gear apparatus comprising:
- a main body portion;
- a plurality of high-visibility elements coupled to the body portion, the plurality of high-visibility portions including a night-time light reflecting material and day-time high-visibility surrounding offset material.
A method comprising:
- providing a work gear main body portion;
- determining relevant portions of the work gear main body portion for attaching high-visibility elements for increasing visibility of the work gear main body portion during light conditions and during dark conditions;
- and
- attaching the high-visibility elements to the determined relevant portions of the work gear main body portion.
