Abstract
Embodiments of the invention relate to security features to prevent one from trying to enter multiple different payment card number combinations into a payment request form for an online transaction in an effort to probe for the accurate payment information.

A server computer apparatus comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a computer-readable storage medium, comprising code executable by the processor for implementing a method comprising,
- providing an online request form to a consumer,
- receiving payment information including a device identifier from the online request form during an online transaction,
- restricting access to the online request form,
- providing an input region,
- generating a confirmation code,
- transmitting the confirmation code to the device identifier,
- receiving the confirmation code via the input region, and
- allowing access to the online request form if the confirmation code entered via the input region matches the generated confirmation code.
