Abstract
A storage unit for an occupant detection system detecting an occupant based on a magnitude correlation between a detection load value obtained by a load sensor and a threshold value, the storage unit includes a first ROM storing either one of the threshold value and a threshold value specific information for identifying the threshold value, the first ROM being rewritable and a second ROM storing information except for either one of the threshold value and the threshold value specific information, a rewriting of the second ROM being more difficult than a rewriting of the first ROM.

A storage unit for an occupant detection system detecting an occupant based on a magnitude correlation between a detection load value obtained by a load sensor and a threshold value, the storage unit comprising:
- a first ROM storing either one of the threshold value and a threshold value specific information for identifying the threshold value, the first ROM being rewritable;
- and
- a second ROM storing information except for either one of the threshold value and the threshold value specific information, a rewriting of the second ROM being more difficult than a rewriting of the first ROM.
