Abstract
Crystal growth of cloquintocet mexyl hydrate is inhibited by polymeric carboxylate compounds.

A method of reducing crystal growth of cloquintocet mexyl hydrate formed when a composition containing cloquintocet mexyl is exposed to water which comprises incorporating into the composition containing cloquintocet mexyl a crystal-growth inhibiting amount of a polymeric carboxylate having a molecular weight of about 500 to about 70,000 grams per mole.
