Abstract
A coated article includes a substrate and a superhydrophobic coating on the substrate. The superhydrophobic coating is a composite of a silicone polymer and particles that are inherently hydrophobic or surface-functionalized with a hydrophobic agent.

A coated article comprising:
- a substrate;
- and
- a superhydrophobic coating on the substrate, and the superhydrophobic coating is a composite of a silicone polymer and particles that are hydrophobic or surface-functionalized with a hydrophobic agent.
A coated article comprising:
- a substrate;
- and
- a superhydrophobic coating on the substrate, and the superhydrophobic coating is a composite of a silicone polymer and at least two different kinds of hydrophobic particles.
