Abstract
A glass substrate comprises a first surface and a second surface. The first surface has an average surface roughness Ra of 0.2 nm or less, and the second surface has an average surface roughness Ra of 0.3 to 1.5 nm. At least the second surface is subjected to chemical treatment through atmospheric pressure plasma processing.
Claims15
A glass substrate, comprising a first surface and a second surface, wherein:
- the first surface has an average surface roughness Ra of 0.2 nm or less;
- at least the second surface is subjected to chemical treatment through atmospheric pressure plasma processing so that the second surface has an average surface roughness Ra of 0.3 to 1.5 nm.
A method of producing a glass substrate having a first surface and a second surface, the method comprising the steps of:
- forming the glass substrate having the first surface and the second surface;
- and
- subjecting at least the second surface to chemical treatment through atmospheric pressure plasma processing so that the first surface has an average surface roughness Ra of 0.2 nm, and the second surface has an average surface roughness Ra of 0.3 to 1.5 nm.
