Belt unit, transfer unit including the belt unit, and image forming apparatus including the transfer unit

A belt unit for an image forming apparatus, comprising:

• an endless rotatable belt wound around a plurality of rollers and formed into a loop;
• a plurality of photoconductive drums disposed along a surface of the belt;
• a pair of rollers disposed facing the photoconductive drums via the belt;
• arms to swing and movably support the pair of rollers to contact and separate from the belt, the arms including a portion with a hole;
• and
• a moving assembly to bias the portion with the hole of the arms in a first direction in which the pair of rollers contacts the belt and in a second direction opposite the first direction in which the pair of rollers separates from the belt,
• the moving assembly comprising:
• a slider to bias the portion of the arms with the hole in the first and the second directions;
• an eccentric cam to move the slider in the first and the second directions;
• and
• a spring to transmit a moving force generated by the slider to the portion of the arms with the hole as the slider moves.
