Abstract
An injection-molded case and a manufacturing method thereof having antenna patterns are formed in the injection-molded case by only one insert injection molding process, without a second insert injection molding process as required in the conventional manufacture. The injection-molded case preferably includes: one or more antenna patterns fabricated by a press process; and an injection-molded case part having the antenna patterns provided therewithin, which is fabricated by fixing the antenna patterns on an injection mold and carrying out only one insert injection molding process.
Claims20
An injection-molded case having antenna patterns, the injection-molded case comprising:
- one or more antenna patterns fabricated by a press process;
- and
- an injection-molded case having the antenna patterns arranged therewithin, in which the injection-molded case is fabricated by fixing the antenna patterns on an injection mold in a single insert injection molding process.
An injection mold for manufacturing via single insert injection an injection-molded case having antenna patterns, said mold comprising:
- a plurality of ribs or fixing portions formed for coupling with one or more first fixing holes formed in the antenna patterns to seat the antenna patterns therein;
- a guide rail that fixes the antenna patterns and prevents the antenna patterns from becoming loosened by the resin during the single insert injection molding process of the injection-molded case while guiding the resin to cover the antenna patterns;
- and
- one or more magnetic parts adapted to fix antenna patterns arranged in a surface of the mold by a magnetic force during single insert injection molding.
A method for manufacturing an injection-molded case having antenna patterns, the method comprising the steps of:
- (a) fabricating one or more antenna patterns by a press process;
- and
- (b) fixing the antenna patterns from step (a) on an injection mold therewithin, and
- (c) fabricating an injection-molded case by performing a single insert injection molding process so the injection-molded case has the antenna patterns fixed therein.
