Abstract
A light emitting device according to the embodiment includes a first conductive semiconductor layer; an active layer under the first conductive semiconductor layer; a second conductive semiconductor layer under the active layer; a current blocking region under the second conductive semiconductor layer; a second electrode layer under the second conductive semiconductor layer and the current blocking region; and a first electrode layer including a protrusion protruding toward the first conductive semiconductor layer arranged, on the first conductive semiconductor layer.
Claims11
A light emitting device, comprising:
- a second electrode layer;
- a light emitting structure comprising a first conductive semiconductor layer, a second conductive semiconductor, and an active layer between the first conductive semiconductor layer and the second conductive semiconductor layer;
- at least one current blocking layer disposed between the second electrode layer and the light emitting structure;
- and
- a first electrode layer including a first bottom region and a second bottom region, the second bottom region has a protrusion protruding in the light emitting structure,
- wherein the first bottom region contacts a top surface of the first conductive semiconductor layer, and a side surface and a bottom surface of the protrusion contact an inner surface of the first conductive semiconductor layer.
