Abstract
A stitcher apparatus for pressing a carcass ply sheet from its outer periphery as to be pressure-bonded onto a rubber sheet member after that the carcass ply sheet is pasted onto the rubber sheet member wound around a building drum, the stitcher apparatus including: a ring-shaped frame; and a plurality of pressure-bond rollers.
Claims7
A stitcher apparatus for pressing a carcass ply sheet from its outer periphery as to be pressure-bonded onto a rubber sheet member after that the carcass ply sheet is pasted onto the rubber sheet member wound around a building drum, the stitcher apparatus including:
- a ring-shaped frame that allows passing through of the building drum;
- and
- a plurality of pressure-bond rollers, which are arranged on inner periphery of the ring-shaped frame and each of which has a roller axis tangential to a circle line that is concentric to and larger than the building drum;
- and each of the pressure-bond rollers is supported by a respective mechanism for extracting and retreating the each roller as to be shiftable to inward in diametrical direction;
- the pressure-bond rollers are arrayed, in a plurality of rows, throughout an entire range of the circle line by a constant pitch in peripheral direction;
- arraying of the pressure-bond rollers is made such that;
- their positions in peripheral direction are staggered between adjacent rows of the rollers, so as to avoid forming of a spacing by the rows of the rollers as a whole, at least at a time each of the pressure-bond rollers in each of the rows has been shifted inward in the diameter direction;
- and
- the pressure-bond rollers are constructed such that;
- when the building drum is moved in axial direction relative to the pressure-bond rollers at inside of circular array of the pressure-bond rollers, whole periphery of the carcass ply sheet is pressed to be bonded simultaneously by the pressure-bond rollers, each of which is shifted inward in a diameter direction, with a preset pressure.
