Abstract
Processes of converting to feedstocks comprising hydrocarbons to compositions comprising light hydrocarbon products are described herein. Also described are processes and methods of producing and refining compositions comprising terpenes from biomass that can be suitable as a fuel product.
Claims15
A catalytic cracking process for cracking oil from algae comprising, extracting oil from algae to form a feedstock comprising at least one of a sesquiterpene, a diterpene, a triterpene and a tetraterpene;
- and contacting said feedstock with a catalytic composition comprising a large pore molecular sieve, wherein the large pore molecular sieve is a 12-ring zeolite.
