Abstract
The invention relates to a sound-proofed helicocentrifugal fan comprising a helicocentrifugal propeller (6) associated with a motor (5), housed in a casing formed by a central piece (1) and respective end pieces (2 and 3), which pieces are perforated with holes distributed over the entire surface except for the area around the propeller (6), a sound-absorbing blanket (8) being incorporated on said casing and an outer casing (7) being incorporated around the entire assembly.
Claims4
A sound-proofed helicocentrifugal fan, of the type comprising a helicocentrifugal propeller (6) associated with a motor (5), inside a casing formed by a central piece (1) and respective end pieces (2 and 3) which are coupled with it, while pieces (9 and 10) are arranged at the ends of the assembly for coupling with the air circulation pipes (4) to which the fan has to be attached, characterized in that the central piece (1) and the end pieces (2 and 3) making up the casing which houses the propeller (6) and motor (5) are perforated with a distribution of holes over the entire surface except in the area around the propeller (6), a blanket (8) made of a sound-absorbing material being incorporated on the aforementioned casing and an outer casing (7) being incorporated around the entire assembly.
