A method of cleaving a glycosaminoglycan, comprising:
- contacting a glycosaminoglycan with a Δ4,5 unsaturated glycuronidase in an effective amount to cleave the glycosaminoglycan.

A method of inhibiting angiogenesis, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a pharmaceutical preparation comprising a Δ4,5 unsaturated glycuronidase or an expression vector encoding the glycuronidase.
A method of treating a coagulation disorder, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a pharmaceutical preparation comprising a Δ4,5 unsaturated glycuronidase or an expression vector encoding the glycuronidase.
