The apparatus for conveying printed products has a feeding device which conveys the printed products to a discharge end. The gripper circulatory path of the gripper conveyor moves with the receiving section past the latter. During movement through the receiving section, the grippers use their gripper mouth to grasp the printed products and convey said products further. If the receiving section is located in the central position with respect to the feeding device, the printed products are grasped centrally and conveyed further. If, by contrast, the receiving section is displaced by means of the adjustment device into a side position, the printed products are grasped eccentrically and guided further.
A method for combining sheet-like products (12), in particular printed products, with further sheet-like products, in which the sheet-like products (12) are transported by means of a feeding device (14) in the feeding direction (Z) to a discharge end (18) of the feeding device (14), the sheet-like products (12) are grasped at the discharge end (18) in a product border region (30) adjacent to an edge (32) running transversely with respect to the feeding direction (Z) by a gripper (22) of a gripper conveyor (16) and are conveyed further, the grippers (22) being driven in a circulatory direction (U) and being arranged one behind another and the gripper circulatory path (24), which is self-contained, running with a receiving section (26) past the discharge end (18), and the sheet-like products (12) being conveyed by means of the gripper conveyor (16) past a supply station (130) for further sheet-like products (126), said supply station being arranged downstream of the receiving section (26) in a circulatory direction (U) of the gripper conveyor (16), and further sheet-like products (126) being combined by means of the supply station (130) with sheet-like products (12) moving past the supply station (130), wherein the sheet-like products (12) are grasped by the grippers (22) in the product border region (30) in a manner offset in the direction of the edge (32) with respect to a central section (42) and are conveyed further, and wherein the further sheet-like products (126) are combined by means of the supply station (130) with the sheet-like products (12) in a manner offset laterally with respect thereto.
A device for combining sheet-like products (12), in particular folded printed products, with further sheet-like products (126), with a feeding device (14) which is intended to transport the sheet-like products (12) in the feeding direction (Z) to a discharge end (18) of the feeding device (14), a gripper conveyor (16) having grippers (22) which are driven in a circulatory direction (U), are arranged one behind another and the self-contained gripper circulatory path (24) of which runs with a receiving section (26) past the discharge end (18) and which grippers are capable of grasping the sheet-like products (12) at the discharge end (18) in a product border region (30) adjacent to an edge (32) running transversely with respect to the feeding direction (Z) and of conveying said products further, and a supply station (130) for the further sheet-like products (126), which supply station is arranged downstream of the receiving section (26) in the circulatory direction (U) of the gripper conveyor (16) and past which the gripper circulatory path (24) is guided and which is intended to combine further sheet-like products (126) with sheet-like products (12) which are moved past it by means of the gripper conveyor (16), wherein the grippers (22) grasp the sheet-like products (12) in the product border region (30) in a manner offset in the direction of the edge (32) with respect to a central section (42) and convey said products further, and wherein the supply station (130) combines the further sheet-like products (126) with the sheet-like products (12) in a manner offset laterally with respect thereto.
An apparatus (10) for conveying sheet-like products (12), in particular folded printed products, with a feeding device (14) which is intended to transport the sheet-like products (12) in the feeding direction (Z) to a discharge end (18) of the feeding device (14), and a gripper conveyor (16) having grippers (22) which are guided on a guide (20), are driven in a circulatory direction (U) and are arranged one behind another, the self-contained gripper circulatory path (24) of which runs with a receiving section (26) past the discharge end (18), and which are capable of grasping the sheet-like products (12) at the discharge end (18) in a central section (42) of a product border region (30) which is adjacent to an edge (32) running transversely with respect to the feeding direction (Z) and of conveying said products further, which comprises an adjustment device (34) by means of which the receiving section (26) can be moved from a central position (36), in which the grippers (22) grasp the sheet-like products (12) in the central section (42), with elastic deformation of the guide (20) and in a direction transversely with respect to the feeding direction (Z), into a side position (38) in order, in the side position (38), to grasp the sheet-like products (12) in the product border region (30) in a manner offset in the direction of the edge (32) with respect to the central section (42) and to convey said products further.
