Abstract
The present invention provides a method for diagnosis of cystic fibrosis, the method comprising: measuring an amount of KL-6 in a sample of body fluid from a subject, and determining, based on the amount of KL-6 measured, the degree of presence of cystic fibrosis in the subject.

A method for diagnosis of cystic fibrosis, the method comprising:
- measuring an amount of KL-6 in a sample of body fluid from a subject, and
- determining, based on the amount of KL-6 measured, the degree of presence of cystic fibrosis in the subject.
A method for determining the effectiveness of a treatment of cystic fibrosis in a subject, the method comprising:
- measuring an amount of KL-6 in a sample of body fluid from the subject, and
- determining the effectiveness of the treatment in the subject based on the amount of KL-6 measured.
A kit for diagnosis of cystic fibrosis in a subject, the kit comprising an antibody that specifically binds KL-6.
