Method for the production of a ceramic absorber member for solar radiation, and absorber member

A method for production of a ceramic absorber member for solar radiation, the absorber member comprising a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a large number of channels running substantially in straight lines, linking the first surface to the second surface, the method comprising:

• producing an absorber member green preform,
• material-stripping processing the first surface of the absorber member green preform to enlarge the first surface, and
• firing the absorber member green preform.

An absorber member for solar radiation, comprising:

• a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, and
• a large number of channels running substantially in straight lines, linking the first surface to the second surface,
• wherein in a channel wall of at least one channel in a mouth region of the absorber member on the first surface, a beam entry face is configured at an angle relative to an axis of the length of the channel and configured substantially flat such that the solar radiation incident on the beam entry faces is reflected into the respective channel, and wherein the absorber member is made of a ceramic material.
