Abstract
A method is disclosed for controlling at least one machining device which is coupled to a machine tool by means of an encoder signal, the machine tool having at least one motion control device. In order to improve the accuracy of the encoder connection, at least one additional variable which characterizes the transport is digitally transmitted from the motion control device to the at least one machining device and is used to correct the encoder signal.
Claims10
A method for controlling at least one machining device which is coupled to a machine tool by way of an encoder signal, the machine tool having at least one motion control device, wherein at least one additional variable which defines the transport is digitally transmitted from the motion control device to the at least one machining device and is configured to correct the encoder signal.
A machine tool comprising:
- at least one motion control device;
- at least one machining device;
- a data link configured to transmit an encoder signal to the at least one machining device;
- a further data link from the motion control device to the at least one machining device for digitally transmitting at least one additional variable which defines the transport, and
- means for correcting the encoder signal inside the machining device using the at least one additional variable which defines the transport.
