Abstract
A power tool, particularly a hand-held power tool, is provided with a sensor unit for sensing an observation area on the workpiece side with varying resolution and having arranged in front of it a lens system with lenses of varying focal length.
Claims17
A machine tool that comprises a working tool and an observation device, which comprises a sensor unit that is aligned with a workpiece side observation area, particularly for a working line to be followed, and which comprises at least one detection surface covering a working area of the working tool, wherein the observation device has the sensor unit aligned with observation fields covering a plurality of, at least the detection surface and a probing surface.
An observation device for machine tools which comprises a sensor unit for detecting a detection surface, wherein the sensor unit, is configured to detect with a different optical resolution the detection surface and a probing surface that is at least partially offset therefrom in an upstream direction, and wherein there is arranged upstream of the sensor unit a lens system with lenses of different focal lengths provided in alignment with the detection surface and the probing surface.
A method for operating a machine tool, having a working tool and an observation device, aligned with a plurality of observation fields, with including at least one detection surface and a probing surface upstream of the detection surface, for a working line to be followed, wherein owing to the detection of the working line already performed in the probing surface there are data available which are used to protect and/or supplement the data obtained in the detection surface.
