Abstract
A particle-polymer hybrid material can include: a substance having the structure of Formula 1 (Z—(Y—FP)m, wherein Z is a particle smaller than 1 mm; m is an integer; Y is a linker including a siloxane linked to the particle; FP is a functionalized polymer having: a first norbornenyl reaction product linked to the siloxane; and one or more second norbornenyl reaction products linked to the first norbornenyl reaction product opposite of the siloxane, wherein the one or more second norbornenyl reaction products include a functional group.
