Concentrated film delivery systems

A method for forming a cleaning solution for cleaning a surface or for treating odors comprising:

• providing a container;
• providing a water soluble strip, said water soluble strip formed of one or more actives and one or more agents selected from the group consisting of heat forming agent and degrading accelerator, said carrier film including water soluble polymer said active including one or more agents selected form the group consisting of antimicrobial agent, cleaning agent and surfactant, said heat forming agent formulated to generate heat in the presence of water, oxygen or combinations thereof, said degrading accelerator formulated to generate gas in the presence of water, oxygen or combinations thereof, said water soluble polymer formulated cause said carrier film to dissolve in water and release said one or more actives from said carrier film as said carrier film dissolves in the water;
• at least partially filling said container with water;
• inserting said water soluble strip in said container;
• waiting a period of time for said water soluble strip in said container to at least partially dissolve or degrade in said water in said container so that said one or more actives are released from said water soluble strip to form said cleaning solution, said heat forming agent, said degrading accelerator, or combinations thereof facilitating in said dissolving or degrading of said water soluble film in said water, at least 60 percent of said water soluble dissolves or degrades in said water in said period of time of less than about five minutes;
• and,
• applying said cleaning solution on an area to be treated by said cleaning solution.

A method for forming a cleaning solution for cleaning a toilet bowl or clogged drain comprising:

• providing a water soluble strip, said water soluble strip formed of one or more actives and one or more agents selected from the group consisting of heat forming agent and degrading accelerator, said carrier film including water soluble polymer said active including one or more agents selected form the group consisting of antimicrobial agent, cleaning agent and surfactant, said heat forming agent formulated to generate heat in the presence of water, oxygen or combinations thereof, said degrading accelerator formulated to generate gas in the presence of water, oxygen or combinations thereof, said water soluble polymer formulated cause said carrier film to dissolve in water and release said one or more actives from said carrier film as said carrier film dissolves in the water;
• inserting said water soluble strip in said toilet bowl or a region that includes a clogged drain;
• and,
• waiting a period of time for said water soluble strip to at least partially dissolve or degrade in water located in said toilet bowl or clogged drain so that said one or more actives are released from said water soluble strip into said toilet bowl or clogged drain, said heat forming agent, said degrading accelerator, or combinations thereof facilitating in a) said dissolving or degrading of said water soluble film in said water, b) facilitating said actives in cleaning or clearing said toilet bowl or clogged drain, or combinations thereof, at least 60 percent of said water soluble dissolves or degrades in said water in said period of time of less than about five minutes.

A method for forming a cleaning solution for cleaning laundry in a washing machine or dishes in a dishwasher comprising:

• providing a water soluble strip, said water soluble strip formed of one or more actives and one or more agents selected from the group consisting of heat forming agent and degrading accelerator, said carrier film including water soluble polymer said active including one or more agents selected form the group consisting of antimicrobial agent, cleaning agent and surfactant, said heat forming agent formulated to generate heat in the presence of water, oxygen or combinations thereof, said degrading accelerator formulated to generate gas in the presence of water, oxygen or combinations thereof, said water soluble polymer formulated cause said carrier film to dissolve in water and release said one or more actives from said carrier film as said carrier film dissolves in the water;
• inserting said water soluble strip in said washing machine or dishwasher;
• and,
• turning on said washing machine or dishwasher to cause water to contact said water soluble strip in said washing machine and dishwasher so as to at least partially dissolve or degrade said water soluble strip so that said one or more actives are released from said water soluble strip into said washing machine or dishwasher, said heat forming agent, said degrading accelerator, or combinations thereof facilitating in a) said dissolving or degrading of said water soluble film in said water, b) facilitating said actives in cleaning laundry or dishes in said washing machine or dishwasher.
