Abstract
The present invention is directed to a non-sticky, hydrating and moisturizing aqueous lip gloss having: (a) at least one alkyl ethoxylated polymer wax; (b) at least one oil soluble polar modified polymer; (c) water; (d) at least one non volatile oil capable of solubilizing the polar modified polymer; and (e) optionally, at least one colorant, and wherein the composition does not require silicone fluids therein.

A composition comprising:
- (a) at least one alkyl ethoxylated polymer wax;
- (b) at least one oil soluble polar modified polymer;
- (c) water;
- (d) at least one non-volatile oil capable of solubilizing the polar modified polymer;
- and
- (e) optionally, at least one colorant, and wherein the composition does not require silicone fluids therein.

A method of simultaneously imparting gloss, non-sticky, hydration and moisturization onto lips comprising:
- (a) at least one alkyl ethoxylated polymer wax;
- (b) at least one oil soluble polar modified polymer;
- (c) water;
- (d) at least one non-volatile oil capable of solubilizing the polar modified polymer;
- and
- (e) optionally, at least one colorant, and wherein the composition does not require silicone fluids therein.
