A method for producing an apparatus for applying glue to regions of paper or plastic webs or paper or plastic web-sections for the production of paper sacks, in which method:

• a nozzle unit (1) is provided that comprises a plurality of glue outlet openings (4) and glue supply lines (3) and a plurality of glue valves (5, 6, 7), by means of which (5, 6, 7) the glue supply lines (3) can be provided selectively with glue, each glue valve (5, 6, 7) comprising at least one tappet (8, 9, 10) comprising a sealing head (15) and at least one counter element (11, 12, 13), with which the sealing head (15) can make sealing contact,
• a glue chamber (2), by means of which glue can be provided,
• characterized in that the counter element (11, 12, 13) is disposed in or in close vicinity of the glue chamber (2).
