Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for separating food slices from at least one food bar utilizing a rotating knife, wherein the food bar can be transported in the direction of the knife by way of at least one transporting means. The present invention further relates to a device for separating food slices from at least one food bar utilizing a rotating knife, wherein the food bar can be transported in the direction of the knife by way of at least one transporting means, and a knife for cutting open foodstuff. Said device comprises an oscillating sensor and/or a product sensor and the knife comprises a counter weight.
Claims18
A method for slicing a food bar comprising:
- using a device which has a rotating blade and at least one transport means;,
- placing the food bar into an advancing line;
- transporting the food bar by the transport means in the direction of the blade;
- and,
- slicing the food bar in the process of transporting the food bar,
- wherein the device is assigned at least one vibration sensor and/or at least one product sensor which determines at least one parameter of the food bar and a signal from which is used for monitoring and/or adjusting the device or the slicing operation.
The method as claimed in 1, wherein, in order to form a portion, at least one unproductive cut is executed, and a cutting gap is adjusted after an unproductive cut.
A device for cutting off food slices from at least one food bar comprising:
- a rotating blade, and
- at least one transport means which transports the food bar in the direction of the blade,
- wherein said device is assigned at least one vibration sensor and/or at least one product sensor, to ascertain at least one parameter of the food bar.
A blade for slicing food comprising:
- a blade edge and
- a recess,
- wherein at least one dimension of the recess is at least 140 mm and at most 450 mm.
