Data Services Framework Workflow Processing

A system, comprising:

• a data services module operable to:
• receive a request for data from a client;
• based on the request, determine a workflow to process the request;
• based on the workflow, generate a plurality of backend calls;
• based on the plurality of backend calls, select one or more data sources from a plurality of data sources;
• transmit one or more of the plurality of backend calls to the selected data sources;
• and
• receive, from each of the selected data sources, a response to the plurality of backend calls.
• the one or more data sources operable to:
• receive, from the data services module the one or more of the plurality of backend calls;
• and
• transmit, to the data services module, the response.

A computer readable non-transitory medium encoded with logic, the logic operable, when executed on a processor to:

• receive a request for data from a client;
• based on the request, determine a workflow to process the request;
• based on the workflow, generate a plurality of backend calls;
• based on the plurality of backend calls, select one or more data sources from a plurality of data sources;
• transmit one or more of the plurality of backend calls to the selected data sources;
• and
• receive, from each the selected data sources, a response to the plurality of backend calls.
