Abstract
The present invention relates to quick-drying two-component polyurethane coating compositions, to processes for preparing them, and to their use.
Claims8
A two-component polyurethane coating composition comprising as synthesis components
- (A) at least one polyisocyanate obtained by a process comprising reacting at least one monomeric isocyanate,
- (B) at least one hydroxyl-containing poly(meth)acrylate polyol, and
- (C) at least one hyperbranched polyester polyol,
- either obtained by a process comprising polycondensing
- at least one dicarboxylic acid A2 or derivatives thereof,
- optionally of at least one tri-functional or higher polyfunctional carboxylic acid Ax with x≧3 or derivatives thereof, and
- at least one tri-functional or higher polyfunctional alcohol By with y≧3, and also
- in the absence of diol B2,
- or obtained by a process comprising polycondensing
- at least one tri-functional or higher polyfunctional carboxylic acid Ax with x≧3 or derivatives thereof,
- in the absence of a dicarboxylic acid A2 or derivatives thereof, and
- at least one diol B2, and also
- optionally at least one tri-functional or higher polyfunctional alcohol By with y≧3.
10 more elements
A method of coating substrates, which comprises mixing a polyisocyanate composition (A), a binder (B) and a binder (C), wherein
- the polyisocyanate composition (A) is at least one polyisocyanate obtained by a process comprising reacting at least one monomeric isocyanate,
- the binder (B) is at least one hydroxyl-containing poly(meth)acrylate polyol, and
- the binder (C) is at least one hyperbranched polyester polyol, in a molar ratio of isocyanate groups in (A) to isocyanate-reactive groups in (B) and (C) of 0.1:1 to 10:1, optionally mixing further typical coatings constituents, and subsequently applying the resulting composition to the substrate.
