Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treatment and/or prevention of cancer, which comprises, as an active ingredient, an antibody or fragment thereof having an immunological reactivity with a CAPRIN-1 protein or a fragment thereof comprising 7 or more consecutive amino acids.

A pharmaceutical composition for treatment and/or prevention of a cancer, which comprises, as an active ingredient, an antibody or fragment thereof having an immunological reactivity with a CAPRIN-1 protein having an amino acid sequence shown in any one of the even numbered SEQ ID NOS:
- 2 to 30 or an amino acid sequence having 80% or more sequence identity with the amino acid sequence, or with a fragment of the CAPRIN-1 protein comprising 7 or more consecutive amino acids.
An antibody having an immunological reactivity with a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:
- 37 or SEQ ID NO:
- 136 or an amino acid sequence having 80% or more sequence identity with the amino acid sequence.
An antibody comprising a heavy-chain variable region comprising the sequences shown in SEQ ID NOS:
- 40, 41, and 42 and a light-chain variable region comprising the sequences shown in SEQ ID NOS:
