Abstract
Provided is an electrophoretic display device that includes a display region including an electrophoretic element interposed between a first substrate and a second substrate that is flexible; and a conductive member that is located between the first substrate and the second substrate and at a position outside the display region and that electrically connects the substrates, the conductive member having a different thickness from that of the electrophoretic element; wherein the second substrate includes a slit formed at a position between the display region and the conductive member.

An electrophoretic display device that includes a display region including an electrophoretic element interposed between a first substrate and a second substrate that is flexible, comprising:
- a conductive member that is located between the first substrate and the second substrate and at a position outside the display region, and that electrically connects the substrates, the conductive member having a different thickness from that of the electrophoretic element;
- wherein the second substrate includes a slit formed at a position between the display region and the conductive member.
