Abstract
A light emitting apparatus includes one or more light emitting semiconductors, and an elongated lens encapsulating the one or more light emitting semiconductors. The elongated lens comprises an exterior surface having a photoluminescent material thereon.
Claims20
A light emitting apparatus, comprising:
- an elongated lens extending from a base along an elongated axis to an end of the lens, wherein the lens further comprises an exterior surface having a photoluminescent material thereon;
- and
- one or more light emitting semiconductors in the base of the lens.
A light emitting apparatus, comprising:
- one or more light emitting semiconductors;
- and
- an elongated lens encapsulating the one or more light emitting semiconductors, wherein the lens comprises an exterior surface having a photoluminescent material thereon.
A light emitting apparatus, comprising:
- one or more light emitting semiconductors;
- and
- an elongated lens configured to support a photolumunescent material remote from the one or more light emitting semiconductors and in the pathway of light emitted from the one or more light emitting semiconductors.
