A stationary internal combustion engine comprising a combustion engine and at least one compression device is disclosed. The combustion engine and the at least one compression device are connected to each other without vibrations being transmitted therebetween.

A stationary internal combustion engine including a combustion engine and at least one compressor device, wherein the combustion engine and the at least one compressor device are connected together in vibrationally decoupled relationship by vibration decouplers in the form of compensators and/or damping intermediate layers and/or resilient intermediate layers.
