Systems and methods for collaboration

A system for managing a notification in a collaborative space, the system comprising:

• a server configured to perform actions that comprise:
• associating the collaboration place with first and second collaboration place interfaces executing on respective first and second clients;
• monitoring a plurality of activities in the collaboration place, including activities from the first and second collaboration place interfaces;
• and
• generating the notification regarding one or more of the activities, wherein one or more of the notification is for presentation to one or more viewing users and relates to an activity that was performed by a user in a linked collaboration place

A non-transitory processor readable medium for managing a notification in a collaborative space, the medium comprising instructions that when executed by a processor causes the processor to perform actions that comprise:

• associating the collaboration place with first and second collaboration place interfaces executing on respective first and second clients;
• monitoring a plurality of activities in the collaboration place, including activities from the first and second collaboration place interfaces;
• and
• generating the notification regarding one or more of the activities, wherein one or more of the notification is for presentation to one or more viewing users and relates to an activity that was performed in a linked collaboration place.
