System and Method of Collecting and Reporting Exceptions Associated with Information Technology Services

A system for collecting and reporting exceptions associated with information technology services, comprising:

• an interface operable to receive a plurality of exceptions associated with a service, wherein the plurality of exceptions includes a plurality of first exceptions associated with an infrastructure and a plurality of second exceptions associated with an application;
• and
• a processor operable to:
• format the plurality of exceptions into an exceptions list;
• correlate at least one of the plurality of first exceptions and at least one of the plurality of second exceptions to identify a service error condition;
• and
• store the exceptions list and an identifier of the service error condition on a computer-readable medium for presentation to a client associated with the service.

Logic for collecting and reporting exceptions associated with information technology services, the logic encoded on a computer-readable medium and operable when executed to:

• receive a plurality of exceptions associated with a service, wherein the plurality of exceptions includes a plurality of first exceptions associated with an infrastructure and a plurality of second exceptions associated with an application;
• format the plurality of exceptions into an exceptions list;
• correlate at least one of the plurality of first exceptions and at least one of the plurality of second exceptions to identify a service error condition;
• and
• store the exceptions list and an identifier of the service error condition on a computer-readable medium for presentation to a client associated with the service.
