Abstract
One embodiment of a method includes loading, by a memory controller, a boot image from a solid state drive to an operating memory of a computing system during an initialization operation of the computing system. The initialization operation initializes components of the computing system.

A method, comprising:
- loading, by a memory controller, a boot image from a solid state drive to an operating memory of a computing system during an initialization operation of the computing system, the initialization operation initializing components of the computing system.
A method, comprising:
- performing an initializing operation at a computing system, the initialization operation initializing components of the computing system;
- and
- performing, by a memory controller, loading of a boot image from a solid state drive to an operating memory of the computing system in parallel with the initializing operation.
A method, comprising:
- performing, by a computer system, a normal booting operation at each power-on of the computer system until an address of a solid state drive storing a booting image address is learned, the booting image address being an address of the solid state drive storing a booting image;
- and
- performing, by the computer system, an accelerated booting operation at power-on once the boot image address is learned.

A computing system, comprising:
- a processor;
- an operating memory;
- a solid state drive;
- and
- a bus communicatively connecting the processor, the operating memory and the solid state drive;
- and wherein
- the solid state drive is configured to transfer a boot image to the operating memory during an initialization operation of the computing system, the initialization operation initializing components of the computing system.
