Abstract
A method and system analyze data associated with a marketplace category. In some embodiments, a query is received that identifies a marketplace category from multiple marketplace categories associated with an electronic commerce marketplace. Data associated with the marketplace category is accessed and analyzed to identify multiple keywords used to identify listings in the marketplace category. A user interface is generated to display the analysis results, including at least a portion of the multiple keywords used to identify listings in the marketplace category.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving a query identifying a marketplace category from a plurality of marketplace categories associated with an electronic commerce marketplace;
- accessing data associated with the marketplace category;
- analyzing, using a processor, the data associated with the marketplace category to identify a plurality of keywords used to identify listings in the marketplace category;
- and
- generating a user interface to display results of the analyzing, the user interface including at least a portion of the plurality of keywords used to identify listings in the marketplace category.
A method comprising:
- receiving a query identifying a marketplace category from a plurality of marketplace categories associated with an electronic commerce marketplace;
- accessing data associated with the marketplace category;
- analyzing, using a processor, the data associated with the marketplace category to identify a plurality of entities with listings in the marketplace category;
- and
- generating a user interface to display results of the analyzing, the user interface including a subset of the plurality of entities having a high number of transactions in the marketplace category.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a query from a user, the query identifying a marketplace category from a plurality of marketplace categories associated with an electronic commerce marketplace;
- accessing data associated with the marketplace category;
- analyzing the data associated with the marketplace category to identify a plurality of keywords used to identify listings in the marketplace category during a particular time period;
- generating a user interface to display results of the analyzing, the user interface including at least a portion of the plurality of keywords used to identify listings in the marketplace category;
- and
- communicating the user interface to the user.
A system comprising:
- a data storage device configured to store data associated with a plurality of marketplace categories contained in an electronic commerce marketplace;
- and
- a processor coupled to the data storage device, the processor configured to receive a query identifying a marketplace category from the plurality of marketplace categories contained in the electronic commerce marketplace, the processor configured to access data associated with the marketplace category from the data storage device, the processor further configured to analyze the data associated with the marketplace category to identify a plurality of entities with a high number of transactions in the marketplace category and generate a user interface that displays the plurality of entities with high numbers of transactions in the marketplace category.
