Abstract
A drug infusion system includes an infusion pump; an input device; and a processor, the input device and processor configured to allow an operator to make a selection that specifies a combination of a plurality of drugs to be delivered to a patient, the input device and processor further configured to allow the operator to enter the weight of the patient, at least one of the plurality of drugs delivered based on the entered weight of the patient.

A drug infusion system comprising:
- an infusion pump;
- an input device;
- and
- a processor, the input device and processor configured to allow an operator to make a selection that specifies a preprogrammed combination of a plurality of drugs to be delivered to a patient, the input device and processor further configured to allow the operator to enter (i) the identification, (ii) weight and/or (iii) body surface area (“bsa”) of the patient, at least one of the plurality of drugs delivered based on the entered weight and/or bsa of the patient.

The drug infusion system comprising:
- a first infusion pump;
- a second infusion pump;
- an input device;
- and
- a processor, the input device and the processor configured to allow an operator to make a selection that specifies a combination of a plurality of drugs to be delivered to the patient using the first and second infusion pumps.

- displaying a library of drug combination selections;
- enabling an operator to select one of the drug combination selections for a patient;
- displaying the drugs of a selected one of the drug combination selections to the operator;

- delivering the displayed drugs to the patient.
