An oral pharmaceutical formulation, comprising:
- croscarmellose sodium;
- and
- internal granules comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or polymorph of aliskiren and stearic acid in which the weight proportion of stearic acid to croscarmellose sodium is in the range of 0.05 to 25.
