Compositions containing non-polar compounds

A liquid nanoemulsion concentrate, comprising:

• a mixture of one or more sucrose fatty acid esters or a mixture of the sucrose fatty acid esters and a PEG-derivative of Vitamin E, wherein the total amount of sucrose fatty esters or mixture is between 16% or about 16% and 30% or about 30%, by weight or 17% or about 17% and 29% or about 29%, by weight, of the concentrate, wherein the mixture contains sufficient sucrose fatty acid ester or mixtures thereof to increase miscibility with the polar solvent than it is absence;
• a polar solvent in an amount between 60% or about 60% and 79% or about 79%, by weight, of the concentrate, and
• a non-polar active ingredient selected from among any one or more of polyunsaturated fatty acids, omega-3 fatty acids, omega-6 fatty acids, conjugated fatty acids, Coenzyme Q10 compounds, vitamin D3 and phytosterols in an amount between 5% or about 5% and 10% or about 10%, by weight, of the concentrate.
