Oral ph and buffering capacity modifiers

A dental treatment system for directly controlling the pH environment within a patient's oral cavity, comprising:

• a testing device, comprising:
• a testing strip;
• a pH testing pad attached to the testing strip and configured to test the pH level of a patient's saliva;
• and
• a buffering capacity testing pad attached to the testing strip and configured to test the buffering capacity of a patients saliva;
• and
• a delivery device, comprising:
• an oral pH modifier composition;
• and
• an oral buffering capacity modifier composition,
• wherein the testing device is used to determine the dosage of the delivery device such that the patient can customize the use of the delivery device to control the pH within the patient's oral cavity.

An oral saliva testing device, comprising:

• a test strip;
• and
• an oral buffering capacity test pad attached to the test strip,
• wherein the oral buffering capacity test pad measures a buffering capacity of a patient's saliva when brought into contact with the patient's saliva.
