Modular and easy to assemble grilled cover piece for drainage channels

Abstract

The grilled cover piece (1, 1′) for drainage channels (C), comprises a substantially horizontal wall (201) covering the channel (C) and provided with a longitudinal hollow ridge which extends upwards (301, 301′) and which with its top wall is provided with eyelets or holes (401, 2). The said cover piece emerges flush with or just below the level of the surface (SS, SS′) from which the water to be drained must be removed, said water flowing down by means of gravity into the underlying channel and being channelled and conveyed away by the latter, and being provided, transversely at one end, with at least one female profile (5, 5′) and, on its other end, with at least one male profile (105, 105′) complementing the female profile (5, 5′) at the other end, so that it is possible to connect and fix together several cover pieces (1, 1′) arranged in succession so as to cover the channel (C) along its entire length.
