Abstract
A method of transmitting reference signals in a communication network from a first network element to a second network element is provided, wherein the method includes transmitting first type of reference signals using a first resource of a frame wherein the first type of reference signals are related to a first communication system, and transmitting second type of reference signals using a second resource of the frame wherein the second type of reference signals are related to a second communication system.

A method of transmitting reference signals in a communication network from a first network element to a second network element, the method comprising:
- transmitting first type of reference signals using a first resource of a frame wherein the first type of reference signals are related to a first communication system, and transmitting second type of reference signals using a second resource of the frame wherein the second type of reference signals are related to a second communication system.
A communication network element for transmitting reference signals, in particular for a cooperative communication network, the network element comprising:
- a first transmitting unit adapted to send first type of reference signals using a first resource of a frame wherein the first type of reference signals are related to a first communication system, and
- a second transmitting unit adapted to send second type of reference signals using a second resource of the frame wherein the second type of reference signals are related to a second communication system.
