Apparatus and method for transmitting data using multiple antennas

A data transmission method using a plurality of antennas, comprising:

• generating plural pieces of sub-data by demultiplexing first-type data;
• superposing second-type data with a different attribute from the first-type data to the plural pieces of sub-data;
• performing precoding for mapping to the respective antennas by applying a weight to the superposed plural pieces of sub-data and the second-type data;
• and
• transmitting the superposed plural pieces of sub-data and the second-type data.

A data reception method comprising:

• receiving a signal in which first-type data, second-type data, and a pilot signal for channel estimation of the first-type data are superposed, the second-type data having a different attribute from the first-type data;
• restoring the first-type data by using a first channel estimation value obtained from the pilot signal;
• obtaining a second channel estimation value for restoring the second-type data from the first channel estimation value;
• and
• restoring the second-type data from the second channel estimation value.
