Abstract
A diffusing plate may include a transparent base body which has a first surface, the first surface being subdivided into facets, and in which an elevation or depression with a second, curved surface can be assigned to every facet, the facets having different geometric shapes, wherein the facets are assigned to several circular rings, in the sense that their center points lie on each of them.

A diffusing plate, comprising:
- a transparent base body which has a first surface, the first surface being subdivided into facets, and in which an elevation or depression with a second, curved surface can be assigned to every facet,
- the facets having different geometric shapes,
- wherein the facets are assigned to several circular rings, in the sense that their center points lie on each of them.
A reflector lamp with a light source and a reflector with an opening, the opening being closed by a diffusing plate, the diffusing plate comprising:
- a transparent base body which has a first surface, the first surface being subdivided into facets, and in which an elevation or depression with a second, curved surface can be assigned to every facet,
- the facets having different geometric shapes,
- wherein the facets are assigned to several circular rings, in the sense that their center points lie on each of them.
